Charged With a Crime? We Fight Back.
Born and raised in Bacon County, Georgia, I grew up in a single wide trailer down a three-mile dirt road beside a railroad track. My dad drove a log truck. My mom works at the local grocery store. Nobody in my family wore suits. Nobody talked like lawyers. Most people where I come from worked with their hands, kept their word, and minded their business.
I became obsessed with criminal defense because I have always hated watching people get steamrolled by systems bigger than them. I do not romanticize the government. I do not automatically assume the person getting arrested is the villain. And I have never been interested in acting impressed by titles, badges, or power. I stand beside people on the worst days of their lives. I have watched the government accuse people of things that could destroy their names, families, careers, and futures. Most of the time, by the time somebody walks into my office, they are scared, embarrassed, angry, or feel completely alone.
I do not believe in polished sales pitches or telling people what they want to hear just to get hired. I’m a big, bearded fella covered in tattoos with a chip on my shoulder. You get what you get. If you want a sales pitch, go hire a lawyer on a billboard. Regardless of your political views, sexual orientation, religion, or the color of your skin, you have a place at the Christmas Law Group.
Outside the office, I love my family, pimento cheese, sweet tea, fruit trees, house plants, Harley Davidson motorcycles, pineapples, Georgia Bulldogs, shooting guns, grilled cheeses with pesto, and advocating for the legalization of marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms.
